The final journalism awards event of the year was hosted last week by the Cincinnati chapter of the Society of Professional Journalists (SPJ), and Cincinnati Magazine was honored with 15 awards. The magazine also won writing, photography, and design awards in statewide contests organized by Ohio SPJ and the Cleveland Press Club earlier this year.
Here is a roundup of Cincinnati Magazine’s winners, with links to the stories and issues. All awards were for work published in the magazine or affiliated publications in 2023, with the exception of the website, which was judged in real time.
