Both Andrea and Brian are chemical engineers, so they worked science into the overall theme of the wedding. Andrea’s glamorous gown was Essense of Australia from Donna Salyers’ Fabulous-Bridal Boutique. The couple was married at St. Xavier Church, downtown, and their reception was held at The Grand in Covington.
The couple created a monogram including a DNA double helix formed into a circle, symbolizing their everlasting love. It’s featured on their invitations, created by Cardinal Straw Fine Wedding Printing, as well as on their cake by Diane’s Cake, Candy and Cookie Supplies.
The flowers gracing the adorable table sets (as well as Andrea’s bouquet) came from Botany by Jennie Hedges. We love all the creative details keeping with the whimsical science theme: test-tube favors, periodic table markers, and glass flasks as vases. Brilliant!
