The Richter & Phillips Co. has a new home, but it didn’t move far, and it definitely didn’t downsize. At 4,700 square feet, the high-end jeweler’s new downtown showroom at Sixth and Main Streets is more than double its previous home of 40 years, which was just across the street.

Owner and president Rick Fehr says the move was motivated by the desire to expand some of the company’s most exclusive product lines, including Rolex and Omega, as well as take on additional lines like Tudor and Lagos. “And it was just time to step up our game with displays and lighting,” he says.

The company will continue to stock 15 of the most on-trend bridal lines, including Verragio, Tacori, Martin Flyer, Simon G., and Henri Daussi. So if you’re looking to put a ring on it, The Richter & Phillips Co. is still the most iconic destination to make it happen.
