A delayed reception didn’t stop Caroline Perry Littlejohn and Nicholas Rippe from celebrating their eight-year romance and enjoying their special day to the fullest. Their intimate ceremony on April 25, 2020, was followed by a parade of friends and family cheering from their vehicles and a romantic dinner for two at The View at Mt. Adams.

Caroline and Nicholas met in preschool at Summit Country Day School when Nicholas kissed Caroline on the playground. They reconnected years later when a mutual friend set them up for prom and have been together ever since.

Although their reception was delayed due to the pandemic, Caroline and Nicholas still celebrated their day with a photoshoot all over town, including underneath the tree in Mt. Adams where they shared their very first kiss at the age of 4.

The happy couple currently lives in Mt. Lookout. The groom works in property management, and the bride works in healthcare staffing.
