Drink options for “Dry January,” The 1931 is coming, Agave & Rye’s first ghost kitchen concept, and more.
Dry January Options
Participating in “Dryuary”? You’ll find a no-proof cocktail menu at HomeMakers Bar, starting this week. All drinks are $10 each and include the tequila-alternative Old Biddy, with coconut, cucumber, lime, demerara sugar, and saline. Also, check out Sam Adams’ Dry January Market from 1 to 4 p.m. on Saturday, January 20, at the taproom in Over-the-Rhine. You learn about (and taste!) the brewery’s non-alcoholic options.
Party Like It’s 1931
Next month, the Hilton Netherland Plaza Hotel plans to reopen its full-service restaurant under a new name: The 1931. The eatery replaces long-time favorite Orchids at Palm Court, which closed during the first year of the pandemic and never reopened. Named after the year the hotel opened, its menu will feature items from its storied culinary past.
Agave & Rye’s Ghost Kitchen
Last week, Agave & Rye announced its first foray into ghost kitchen territory. Lick My Chicken offers up some new menu items, available through delivery apps like Doordash, including an EPIC chicken sandwich, loaded waffle fries, funnel cake fries, and even its Boozy Bourbon Punch (only available in certain areas).
