With this most recent Snowpocalypse on our collective doorsteps, you might not be in park mode quite yet. But imagine with us for a moment the warm spring day when Carol Ann’s Carousel comes to town. On May 16, Smale Riverfront Park will open the four-season carousel and its 44 different handmade characters, created by the largest manufacturer of wooden carousels, Carousel Works of Mansfield, Ohio. The carousel is named after late local philanthropist, Carol Ann Haile and her husband Ralph.
Check out this video to see how the carousel is made.
