Married: September 14th, 2013 Couple’s Current Home: Chicago Bride’s Profession: Key account manager Groom’s Profession: Consultant
Ashley had always wanted to be Cinderella. On a day in September, she shared a carriage with her very own prince charming, Steve, and took a chauffeured tour through the scenic areas of downtown Cincinnati and Covington. The bride got her own version of happily ever after.
Something Borrowed: The bride’s mother used fabric from her own wedding dress to create the ring bearer pillow, and the bride used fabric from her mother’s veil to create an addition to her headpiece.
Putting the Pieces Together: During the ceremony, the bride and groom incorporated colored pieces of glass that represented the unity between both of their families. After the wedding the couple sent the pieces to a glass artist who created a sculpture for them to enjoy for years to come.
