Bridal Fashion and Fun at Historic Hauck Mansion

The team at Bridal and Formal sure knows how to throw a good party. Held at the recently renovated Hauck Mansion, Watters’ trunk show kicked off with a cocktail party attended by some of our favorite wedding vendors.

I ran into Maura of Cincy Weddings by Maura, Stacey Shiring from Creative Invites and Events, and several other familiar faces while sipping wine, enjoying delicious catering, and swanning around the historic venue.

The Watters team was in attendance, with Creative Director Xay Vongphachanh holding court in a leather dress and enviably badass Christian Louboutin boots. Models floated down the grand staircase in a series of romantic gowns from Watters’ Spring collection, adult beverages flowed, and everyone hit the dance floor once the show was over.

Guests were encouraged to be nosy (my specialty!) and explore the mansion, which is a storybook tale of heavy wood molding, stately fireplaces, and odd relics of the past like a water closet that was literally just a closet with a faucet inside. Rumor has it there’s a ballroom(!) on the 3rd floor—still under construction—but the rest of the venue is ready for any event focused on fun, food, and a whole lotta love.
