Cincinnati’s homegrown indie pop band WALK THE MOON released their new single, “Shut Up and Dance,” with a little help from their friends.
Since their self-titled major label debut in June 2012, band members and fans alike have insisted that WALK THE MOON is not a spectator sport. True to this colorful, collaborative spirit, the band sent out a social media blast requesting video shorts of fans getting down to the new single. The resulting official lyric video features snippets of fans from all over the world on beaches, in basements, and backyards taking the song’s catchy advice.
“Shut Up and Dance” is the first single off WALK THE MOON’s forthcoming sophomore album due out by the end of the year.
