ESTABLISHED 2002
MISSION Lakota Robotics empowers students to pursue STEM careers through engaging, hands-on experiences that build creativity, confidence, and real-world skills to positively impact their communities and the world around them.
SERVING OUR COMMUNITY Lakota Robotics, located at the Paul George STEM Center, is a community-based STEM program representing students from 14+ school districts across Greater Cincinnati. We are 100% volunteer-run, with no paid staff. Our mentors include engineers, educators, and professionals who dedicate their time to guide students in careers they love.
Through FIRST® Robotics programs, students in grades 2–12 gain hands-on experience in coding, CAD, mechanical, design, and leadership. Our eight FIRST® LEGO® League teams feed into our FIRST® Robotics Competition team with more than 50 students each season.
We rely on sponsors and community partners to keep our FIRST® programs FREE at the Paul George STEM Center. Beyond competition, we host STEM summer camps, Girl Scout workshops, and community outreach events throughout the year. Funds raised from these events help cover our building expenses.
