ESTABLISHED 2004
MISSION The Library Foundation is dedicated to ensuring a great public library system by raising, managing, and allocating funds to expand and enhance the programs and services of our Library.
SERVING OUR COMMUNITY The Library Foundation strengthens the Library’s mission to connect people with the world of ideas and information by funding collections, programs, and services beyond what public dollars can provide.
Thanks to generous donors, the Foundation supports impactful initiatives like Summer Reading, our annual literacy-based program for youth, and Homework Helpers, offering free, year-round tutoring for students across Hamilton County.
Since 2019, the Library has renovated or built 19 of its 41 locations, with another six locations in progress, to transform spaces for learning and connection. Foundation gifts amplify this public investment, ensuring every branch inspires curiosity, creativity, and lifelong learning.
A strong public library system is the foundation upon which our community can preserve the past, empower lives today, and build for the future.
