Aquarium After Dark: Pumpkin Bash
This is a grown-ups only Halloween party at the Newport Aquarium. In addition to the regular Aquarium After Dark activities (animal meet-and-greets, twilight tours, scavenger hunts, food stations, games), guests at the Pumpkin Bash will get to explore Underwater Pumpkin Glow, enjoy fall treats, and take part in a costume contest with bonus points for aquatic themed outfits. Jazz legend Herbie Hancock will perform songs from throughout his career spanning over six decades. Fun Filled: A 24-Hour Comedy Revival
Local independent improv team, Holy Cannoli, is bringing 24 hours of comedy, skits, and sketches to the Hoffner Pub. Fun Filled will showcase just under two-dozen local improv and entertainment acts like ComedySportz, Smoke and Queers Burlesque, The Kevin Bauer Power Hour, and each member of Holy Cannoli. Join Queen City Charities for a family-friendly Halloween drag brunch. In addition to delicious food, there will be family-friendly activities, a costume contest with prizes, music from DJ Bobby G, and performances by Alexander Cameron, Molly Mormen, The Lady Phaedra, and Brock Leah Spears. All corgi lovers are invited to this a dog friendly, family friendly, Halloween party hosted by Cincy Corgis. Now its fourth official year, the festival will feature signature merchandise, Halloween costume contests for pets and their human companions, raffles, and vendors. Local zine artists and enthusiasts will gather to showcase, share, and create their works with the micro-publishing community. To celebrate the last regular-season game of FC’s 10th year, the team will be honoring the fans. Festivities start at Rhinegeist before the official pre-match party with an appearance by Gary the Lion and special giveaways. At Pre-Match in the Park, there will be more giveaways, inflatables, a photo-booth, free snow cones (for the first 300 in line), and a chance to write to your favorite player. Cincinnati Cyclones Season Opener
Hockey season is here and to kick off the Cyclones 2025-26 season, the team will play against the Wheeling Nailers. To celebrate the first face-off, hot dogs, sods, and beers will all cost two dollars each and the first 5,000 fans in the arena will get a free Cyclones calendar. Tickets start at $25. Peter Rowan & Sam Grisman Project
Bluegrass legend and frequent collaborator of Jerry Garcia and The Grateful Dead, Peter Rowan, will be playing a concert with Sam Grisman, son of Rowan’s co-collaborator David Grisman, for the ultimate classic-meets-contemporary bluegrass concert experience. Northside Copycat Tour 2025: Show Us Your Kitties
Cincinnati’s first ever cat tour will take place in Northside. Participants will get a guided walking tour featuring the cats of the neighborhood whether on the streets, in windows, in bubble backpacks, or in cute Halloween costumes. If you’re a cat owner along the route from 4210 Dane Ave. to Northside Yacht Club, you can sign up to be a tour stop for free.
