17th Annual Breakfast on the Bridge
In celebration of National Bike to Work Day, cyclists will be gathering on the Purple People Bridge to share breakfast and community. Complimentary coffee and treats from Trailhead Coffee and North South Baking Co. will be served at 7 a.m. followed by a group photo and press conference by the City of Newport about updates to the bridge. This year’s iconic music festival directed by Julia Bullock begins at on Friday at 5 p.m. in Washington Park with the brand new Dîner en Fleur picnic (register here) before moving into Music Hall for the 7:30 p.m. celebratory genre-blending Mass, An Eclectic Opening Night. On Saturday, the Festival Family Lounge will open in the Wilks Studio with kid-friendly performances, singing activities, crafts, snacks, and drinks. 55th Annual Duveneck Memorial Art Walk
New for this year’s Duveneck art show—vendors and artworks will be set up all around the Baker Hunt Campus to turn the event into an interactive walk.
