Recipe: Obscura’s Peppermint Martini


Who says Santa prefers milk with his cookies? After riding a sleigh around in the frosty air and climbing down chimneys, our guess is that he probably needs a stiff drink. Try leaving out this Peppermint Martini for old Saint Nick, or shake it up on your own for you and your friends at the next holiday soiree.

Ryan Bartoo, the VIP Event Liason at Obscura, says that the peppermint flavors give this martini a fun, seasonal taste with a festive presentation.





(Makes 1 serving)

2 oz. Vanilla infused vodka

1 oz. Cream

.5 oz. Crème de menthe

.5 oz. Liquefied Godiva white chocolate

Marshmallow fluff

Crushed candy cane pieces


  1. Decorate a coup glass by lightly painting the rim with marshmallow fluff and then dipping the rim onto a plate of the crushed candy cane pieces.
  2. Shake vanilla infused vodka, cream, crème de menthe and Godiva white chocolate in a shaker.
  3. Strain and pour over ice into the glass.
