If cold weather’s got you down, enjoy the sweeter side of winter at Landlocked Social House. Nestled into the Walnut Hills neighborhood of Cincinnati, the coffeehouse / taproom serving third wave coffee, cocktails, and beer has revamped their menu with special new winter items that’ll make cloudy days far more cozy.

Get your coffee fix with Landlocked’s new Spice Mocha and Chai Cider. Sweet-tasting with a subtle kick, the Spice Mocha combines cardamom, nutmeg, cayenne, and cinnamon with espresso.

You can warm up later in the day with a few new cocktails, too. The bar menu now serves the So Spice cocktail with Dona Chai, Cold Pressed Apple Cider, and Bulleit Bourbon. Also new to the menu is the Glühwein—a mulled red wine and the I Can’t Believe It’s Not Butter Beer, a Harry Potter-inspired mixture of Cream Soda, Tito’s, and butterscotch marshmallow foam. Landlocked also offers 15 beers on tap—some hailing from Denmark—as well as red and white wine, and a gluten free mimosa cider.

The new year also brought new items to Landlocked’s food menu, such as a Korean chicken salad sandwich with kimchi carrots and a cucumber dill sandwich.

Later this month, the coffee bar will complement their new menu with a weekly game night. Every Thursday from 7 to 10 p.m., guests can have fun playing new and old favorites curated by Woodburn Games.

Further down the road, owners Andrew and Anne Decker say they’d like to start offering Cincinnati Skeleton Root natural wine. But for now, they’re settling into their new role as a staple in this growing community.
