Our Indian community really knows how to throw a party. Hosted by the Hindu Temple of Greater Cincinnati (and located on their sprawling property near the Eastgate area), The Taste of India combines Naach Sitare dance competitions with a grand outdoor festival.

Look for all kinds of traditional treats (dosas, curries, chaat snacks, and chai tea) for tasting, colorful Indian garments, and dazzling jewelry for purchase, henna artists, rides for children (from bouncy castles to live ponies), games for adults, a raffle for Mercedes SUVs, and an over-the-top Rozzi fireworks presentation. The temple itself is also open to visitors and offers a glimpse into the majestic decorative art forms associated with the Hindu faith. Plan to attend next year.
