Spotted: Bastille Day Buffet

128

While the anniversary celebrating the culmination of the bloody French Revolution was technically July 14 (off with their heads!), your average Queen City-based Francophile was probably deep in the throes of All-Star Game hysteria. Or perhaps not. But we can all rejoice in the fact that downtown parking will be virtually hassle-free in comparison on Monday, July 20. Meaning, there’s no excuse not to belly up for an all-you-can-eat buffet featuring French classics at Jean-Robert’s Table. Think sideboards heaving with lavish platters of choucroute and cassoulet, teeming tureens of coq au vin, and a bevy of seasonal sides. Mon dieu! Word on the street is that French Crust patissier Jean-Philippe might even whip up a croquembouche for dessert. Call ahead, pay your $35 flat rate, and crowd in with your fellow citoyen and citoyenne at one of the communal tables to revel in the anti-monarchist festivities.

July 20, Table, 713 Vine St., downtown, (513) 621-4777, jrcincy.com
