Just in time for St. Patrick’s Day, Belfast’s Sir James Galway invades the Queen City to collaborate with the Cincinnati Symphony Orchestra on Mozart’s Flute Concerto No. 2. Dubbed “The Man with the Golden Flute,” Galway is an uncommonly fluid performer with an exuberant personality. The CSO, under the guidance of Music Director Louis Langrée, will offer Bruckner’s Symphony No. 7, the composer’s lyrical ode to Richard Wagner.
