Your Queen City Running Club Guide

From track workouts to taco runs, Cincinnati’s run clubs are less about miles and more about community.

I didn’t expect to become a runner. In fact, I was probably one of those people making faces at joggers on an early morning run. Then someone invited me to a run club, which, if you’ve never been, sounds like peak punchline material for a group of non-runners. A run club disguised as a social outing, though? One that ends with a coffee at Urbana Café? Or tacos at Pata Roja? You’d be hooked too. Cincinnati has a thriving run club culture—diverse groups, each with its own vibe, its own pace, and its own reason for lacing up. Below are five of our favorites. Compare and contrast to find your favorite, or give each one a shot; you might just find the group that turns you into a runner.
