With St. Patrick’s Day falling on Sunday, there’s no shortage of things to do this weekend around town. Those who are feeling festive have plenty of options, but there are some other cool events like these.
Get ready for four days of vehicular goodness at the Cincinnati Auto Expo. Cars of all kinds will be on display, from antique to cutting-edge. Electric vehicles are heavily featured this year with a showcase and test drive station dedicated to them. There will also be stations for kids and dogs available for adoption. Celebrate the Ides of March the way Julius Cesar intended: watching him get murdered on stage. Cincinnati Shakespeare Company is throwing a party and letting anyone who wears a toga get $14 on-stage tickets for its production of Julius Caesar. You can be an MVP (most valuable pet-adopter) at Mutt Madness. Washington Park is collaborating with Cincinnati Animal CARES to put on the event with tons of dogs available for adoption. There will also be dog-centric vendors to shop from like Pugalicious Pet Treats and Stitches + Sass. MadTree’s Oakley Taproom is throwing their biggest party of the year in time for the reopening of their kitchen. Festivities run all day and include special hourly beer tappings, tie-dye, games, a photo booth, live music from Soul Pocket, karaoke, and hourly gift card drawings. It’s a special St. Patrick’s Day edition of Art on Vine. Come shop from local artisans, grab a slice of Taglio pizza, and enjoy a beer on Saturday afternoon at Rhinegeist. Afro Caribbean Events Cincinnati is launching its 2024 Day Event Series on Sunday at Somerset. The theme of this party is “Taste of Jamaica” and authentic Jamaican food will be served.
