New York Fashion Week is officially upon us. Editors, retailers, photographers, stylists, and the like started racing from show to show to catch the latest in Fall fashion yesterday, and the movement won’t stop until Fashion Week ends February 13.
Rather than teetering through slush and ice in 4-inch Sophia Webster heels, follow along from the comfort of your home/office/overpriced mobile device like the rest of us.
Here are our favorite ways to stalk this season’s shows:
- Use the official MBFW Show Schedule to keep up with who’s showing when.
- See the action as it happens at newyork.mbfashionweek.com. The fashion industry is now using the power of digital to live stream runway shows. (I think they just took your bacon, Heidi Klum.)
- Social media seems made for times like these. Image-driven sites like Instagram, Pinterest, and Tumblr are heavily participating in the fashion frenzy. Great accounts to follow include mbfashionweek, Vogue, evachen212, cfda, Harper’s Bazaar US, Bryanboy, Elle US, and Coco Rocha, just to name a few.
If you like your fashion fix the old-school way, Style.com has been the go-to resource for runway coverage since September 2000 (which, you know, is practically ancient in Internet years).
Happy catwalking!
