ESTABLISHED 2002

MISSION The mission of the Joe Torre Safe At Home Foundation is to end the cycle of domestic violence and abuse through education.

SERVING OUR COMMUNITY Through our flagship program Margaret’s Place, Safe At Home establishes safe rooms in partner schools in Ohio, New York, California, and two international sites. Master’s-level counselors support children impacted by violence on their path to healing and educate communities to end the cycle of domestic violence and abuse. Our holistic program model offers trauma-informed intervention and prevention services including mental health counseling for individuals and groups, an anti-violence curriculum, school-wide awareness campaigns, peer leadership, and training for school staff, parents, and partnering service providers. The impact of Margaret’s Place extends far beyond the classroom, strengthening families, uplifting school communities, and empowering youth to create lasting positive change.
