Among the rolling hillsides of Colerain Township sits Vinoklet Winery, Hamilton County’s only working winery. Founder Kreso Mikulic planted the first seeds back in 1986 and watched his creation grow to include more than 30,000 vines over 30-plus acres. The winery currently produces 13 red, white, and fruit varietals, including the dry white Tears of Joy, which took home the gold in the 2019 Ohio State Wine Competition. ♦ 11069 Colerain Ave., Colerain Twp. This winery is all about special touches: Wines named after the owners’ grandchildren. Bottles printed with personalized labels for that special occasion. A name derived from a crooked Sycamore tree that winemaker John Keller and his wife Charnie would pass on every trip to the property. Plus, wine tastings on the third Saturday of (almost) every month. ♦ 7405 Industrial Row Dr., Mason, (513) 204-6060

Nearly hidden on an Anderson Township hillside, this micro-vineyard salutes Greater Cincinnati’s winemaking past. Eric and Lauren Lombardo produce just two wines, Laurentia, a blend of pinot grigio and vidal blanc, and Carlotta, a Bordeaux-style blend. While there is no tasting room onsite, you can find Seconda Volta at Market Wines at Findlay Market, Country Fresh Farm Market, or Water Tower Fine Wines. ♦ 334 Bishopsbridge Dr., Anderson Twp.

This woman-owned winery helps you drink local by crafting unique wines from largely forgotten American heritage grapes.
