After a frosty week, it’s good to get back outside and enjoy all that Cincinnati has to offer in the spring. Here are a few good ways to do just that.


Spring HorrorHound

Cincinnati’s biannual horror convention is back with even more legends of the screen like Matthew Lillard, Skeet Ulrich, David Arquette, Danny Trejo, Kevin Dillon, Ralph Macchio, Gina Gershon, Lori Petty, Dascha Polanco, Joe Dante, Mick Foley, Cassandra Peterson (a.k.a. Elvira), and many more. There will also be panels, discussions, film screenings, vendors, tattoo artists, a cosplay contest, and the new “HorrorHound Underground” vendor lounge experience. Aquarium After Dark

It’s time to see what our fishy friends get up to after hours. This special event starts with an ambassador animal encounter, followed by a pizza party. You’ll get to see special presentations at the Shark Ray Bay Theater, learn about nocturnal animals, and go on a nighttime scavenger hunt. The Robert Cray Band

Legendary blues guitarist Robert Cray is bringing his band to the Memo. The iconic musician and Grammy winner who’s played with such artists as Muddy Waters, B.B. King, Buddy Guy, Chuck Berry, Tina Turner, and The Rolling Stones will share the stage with longtime bassist and childhood friend Richard Cousins, keyboardist Dover Weinberg, and drummer Les Falconer. Imago Bird Walk Breakfast

As the air defrosts, Imago Earth Center is inviting you to kick off spring with a community pancake breakfast and bird hike. Local naturalist and Queer Birders of Cincinnati President Ash Conway will lead the walk. Women’s History Month Spring Brunch Tasting Tour

Findlay Market is honoring Women’s History Month with a special tasting tour spotlighting women-owned businesses. Tickets are $35 and include a Wrap Pinwheel and Broccoli Salad from Carl’s Deli, Chocolate Coffee Hazelnut Fudge from Gibbs Cheese, Cheese Arepa from The Arepa Place, Noodles and Wonton from Yee Mama, and a hand-printed notecard from SKT Ceramics. Holi Cincy

Celebrate the South Asian festival of spring and color at Factory 52 with host et&al. Attendees will get to enjoy both indoor and outdoor activities like traditional color throwing, a movement session with Rang & Rhythm by Rosh, live DJ sets by Vikas, Mavi, and Das, live Dhol from Simer Singh Goraya, fresh dosa and chaat from Tikka Xpress, cultural vendors, and open-air bar, and other festive activations. Third Annual Mx. Cincinnati Pride Pageant 

Cincinnati Pride is throwing its third Mx. Cincinnati Pride Pageant to crown the city’s top drag entertainer of 2026. P.H. Dee will host the event where local queens and kings will showcase their best outfits, talents, and declarations of pride for the chance to inherit the crown from 2025 Mx. Cincinnati Pride Chasity Marie. Tickets are $5 in advance, $7 at the door, and free for drag performers. Sat, Mar 21, 7-10 p.m., The Carnegie, 1028 Scott St., Covington

FC Cincinnati Kids’ Day

FCC’s family-focused game day begins at Prematch at the Park where kids can enjoy friendship bracelet crafting, airbrush and balloon art, mascots, dancing, inflatables, learning circus skills with My Nose Turns Red, and appreciating insects at the Museum Center’s Snug as a Bug in a Rug Exploration Station. Then, head to TQL stadium for the 1 p.m. match against Montreal where there will be in-stadium crafts, games, and a kids’ meal deal. There’s also special Kids’ Day ticket pack offer where you can buy four match tickets and receive two Gary the Lion plushies.
