Pumpkin lovers, rejoice: For the third year in a row, Covington’s Braxton Brewing Company has partnered with Graeter’s Ice Cream to showcase a brew fit for the season, the Pumpkin Pie Ale.

The ale, which is inspired by Graeter’s seasonal pumpkin ice cream has quickly become a fall favorite with its blend of pumpkin, lactose, and pumpkin pie spices. With notes of golden brown pie crust created by a combination of brown sugar and malts, the brew clocks in at a 7% ABV.

This isn’t the first time the two local powerhouses have partnered to put Graeter’s classic flavors on tap. Past collaborations have produced dessert-inspired brews like the Black Raspberry Chocolate Chip Milk Stout and the Black Cherry Chocolate Chip White Stout.

Braxton celebrated the re-release with a special tapping on October 3. Check out the limited-edition ale at the brewery’s Covington taproom or order a six-pack—and a pint of the ice cream that started it all—online at braxtonbrewing.com.
