MISSION ArtWorks creates community-based public art that provides career opportunities for artists of all ages.

SERVING OUR COMMUNITY ArtWorks is a Cincinnati-based nonprofit that transforms people and places through creativity. The organization hires and trains youth apprentices and professional artists to create impactful public art, including over 350 murals that enliven neighborhoods and celebrate community stories. Beyond murals, ArtWorks provides creative workforce development, photo & video services, artist fellowships, exhibitions, creative consulting, artist calls, creative curation, and mentorship programs that empower emerging and established artists alike. Through these initiatives, ArtWorks fosters civic pride, supports economic growth, and strengthens social connection across the region, demonstrating how art can drive community change and create pathways for the next generation of creative leaders.
