Alright ladies—there’s a new kid on a new block. This fall, the east side of town welcomed Amanda’s Hyde Park Bridal in, you guessed it, Hyde Park. This adorable new boutique offers an exclusive selection of gorgeous, on-trend bridal gowns and accessories. We recently visited the shop to get a taste of what’s in-store for our local brides.

Roll out the cupcakes and bubbly. For real. There are literally tiny pink cupcakes and glasses of champagne for you and your shopping party.  And why not? This is far and away the most expensive dress that (most of us) will ever buy. A little royal treatment is not out of order. Hyde Park Bridal offers a “by appointment only” personalized experience. This means that the shop is closed to the public and their undivided attention is focused on you, the bride. We fell completely in love with the plush interior and crazy-pink shop design. It’s way over the top. In a good way.

Hyde Park Bridal carries exclusive designers like Hayley Paige, Blush, Alvina Valenta, and Badgley Mischka, among others. Owner Amanda Topits has curated a stunning collection of gowns with a great attention to contemporary details and a respect for classic appeal. The result is an exceptional style for every girl—from a full on princess gown to a oh-so-current peplum look to a whimsical tulle number. And there’s a price point for just about everyone, as the gowns range from $1,500 – $9,000.

Owner Amanda is a super sweet hometown girl. The DAAP fashion grad has worked in the bridal industry for years, honing her skills before opening her own boutique. She even has plans to design her own bridal line in the near future. Her taste in bridal designers is impeccable, so we can’t wait to see what she brings to our local market.

And what’s a look without the perfect accessories? We had a great time dabbling in Hyde Park Bridal’s awesome bling selection filled with headbands, earrings, stacks of rhinestone bracelets, and a super sparkly belt section. There’s an underlying contemporary-glam look to all the pieces that we totally dig.

Ok, so how glam are these ghost chairs? And the pink damask wallpaper? Oh yes , the garment bags and receipts are pink too. The Hyde Park Bridal experience comes with built-in rose-colored glasses. And we’re into it.
