In a world that overwhelmingly favors sterile grey and beige decor, we’re head over heels for this Pleasant Ridge brick four bedroom with a green tile roof. We knew we’d like it as soon as we saw those window boxes outside and the curved wood railing on the front hall banister; but the living room, with its black walls and white-framed French doors, sealed the deal. We’re also hugely partial to the peachy-pink sunroom beside it, which could pretty much be featured in Romantic Homes Magazine.
By far the home’s most photogenic space, though, is the eat-in kitchen with its multi-colored marble hexagon-patterned floor, on-trend painted cabinets, farmhouse sink and unique wood countertops. Three cheers to this homeowner for reminding us that good taste doesn’t have to be bland.
