Maybe it’s just me, but there seems to be a touch of implied naughtiness in the name (read: I had a strong suspicion it would be damn good). I was not disappointed. With a whiskey-flavored ice cream base studded with chunks of Oreo cookie and honey comb, this little scoop just kills it on the “locally produced sweet treat” metric. Worth noting is the way the decadent butter fat coats your lips as you savor said treat. It’s a sensation that you’re surely missing if you’re eating low fat ice cream or frozen yogurt. Hello Honey is no one trick pony, and they offer free samples to help you decide. Honey Lavender and Sea Salt Caramel are both top contenders. Waffle cones are made on site, as are shakes, cakes and sundaes. And don’t miss their toasted homemade marshmallows. You’ll never crave fro-yo again.
