One perk of Midwest living is the dozens of farmers’ markets—many in small communities surrounded by farmland, where the produce is really local. Pack a cooler and head out to Clintonville Farmers’ Market. Located less than 10 miles north of Columbus, Clintonville is a perfect spot to see the best of Ohio farm culture. This year marks the market’s 11th season and dozens of regional farms and small businesses will be there selling seasonal flowers and produce; homemade jams, relishes, salsas, and mustards; grass-fed meats; handcrafted dairy products; artisanal baked goods; candy; raw honey; maple syrup; coffee; and more, including some stuff you might be surprised to find at a farm market, like high-quality dog food, alpaca and lamb’s wool, and homemade veggie burgers.
