Christmastime pairs perfectly with a bit of kitsch, and Miracle, a themed Holiday Pop-up Cocktail Bar, delightfully fits the bill. Returning to Cincinnati for a second year, the bar, which began in New York City in 2014 and has since expanded to a nationwide holiday tradition, will turn its tinsel to The Overlook Lodge from November 23rd through December 27th.
Revelers can imbibe with holiday spirits like the Run Run Rudolph made with Prosecco, and mulled wine puree, a Christmas Carol Barrel of hot rum punch, tropical fruit juices and spices, or a Snowball Old Fashioned featuring gingerbread bourbon; more seasoned partygoers might head for a naughty shot of bourbon and cinnamon, or its nice counterpart made with chocolate, peppermint, and rum.
The Overlook Lodge’s rustic interior is a perfect canvas for Miracle’s festive treatment; vintage holiday vibes abound, offering a contagiously warm buzz (accented, of course, by And a Partridge in a Pear Tree’s pear brandy with Mezcal, tequila, and Spiced Demerara syrup).
In the spirit of the season, custom glasses benefitting Action Against Hunger will be available for purchase.
