Spotted: African Heritage and Health Week

Kick off February’s Black History Month with the second annual African Heritage and Health Week, sponsored by the national non-profit organization Oldways. Based in Boston, Oldways encourages Americans to make healthier choices by incorporating more plant-based foods in their diets, minimizing meat and processed foods when possible, and using cultural heritage as a touchstone for making these changes.
