Can’t snag a seat at Great American Ball Park to watch the Reds play the Pittsburgh Pirates on Opening Day? Don’t fret! There are plenty of fun ways to celebrate the start of baseball season in the Queen City. Here are five local spots to watch the game and party Reds style.

Take the celebration across the river to the Opening Day in the Cov Street Party for life-size beer pong, giant Jenga, and cornhole. Musical performers include DJ Tater, the Derek Alan Band, the Tyler Moore Band, and Floyd and the Walkmen.

2. Findlay Market
Start your day early at the Babushka Pierogies 5th Annual Opening Day Parade Pierogi Breakfast in Findlay Market, conveniently located along the Opening Day Parade route. Beat the crowd and try one of four varieties of these doughy treats with the option to add goetta gravy or fried eggs.

3. Righteous Room
In the few hours before the game starts, fill up on $1.50 Jell-O shots commemorating the Reds’ 150th anniversary at the Righteous Room downtown. The bar is also offering a “Grand Slam Party Package,” which includes three local brews and one shot for $20, plus music from its resident DJ.

4. Taft’s Ale House
For a family-friendly Opening Day event along the parade route, bring the kids to Taft’s Ale House. The restaurant has special breakfast items and activities, such as speed pitch, inflatable T-ball, and a coloring station. Plus, the fist 100 people to purchase its Opening Day beer get a free T-shirt.

5. Sonder Brewing
Spend the day at Sonder Brewing’s Opening Day Festival, the Mason brewery’s first festival. Brew River will also join the party, serving special and traditional hot dogs and burgers. This celebration also includes music from Jeremy Francis and Jeff Parker, outdoor games, a photo booth, and raffle opportunities.
