Tulips are blooming, songbirds are singing, and Mother’s Day is right around the corner. Celebrate your mom this Sunday, May 12, the Queen City way at one of these five brunch spots. From Blue Ash to Covington, here are the best brunches your mom (and the whole family) will enjoy.

  1. Taft Museum of Art

Vibe: If she’s artsy.

Why not pair French toast and an omelet station with classic works of art? If your mom enjoys the finer things, treat her to a special brunch at the Taft Museum of Art, coupled with their current exhibition featuring American painters, including Thomas Eakins, Winslow Homer, Edward Hopper, and Georgia O’Keeffe.

Bookings are available for noon, 12:45, 1:30, or 2:15 p.m. $26 for Taft members, $30 for non-members, $12 children ages 6–12 (free ages 5 and under).   1. MadTree Brewing with Catch-A-Fire and Shoppe Smitten

Vibe: Get a little tipsy.

Treat mom to a four-course meal of apricot and ricotta tartine, charred endive, lemon pepper chicken, and pineapple butter cake catered by Catch-A-Fire at MadTree’s taproom. One beer or wine is included with each adult ticket, and additional drinks and mimosas are available for purchase. After brunch, mom can treat herself to the pop-up boutique Shoppe Smitten, and she’ll receive a complimentary gift.

Whether you want to satisfy your sweet tooth at the Belgian waffle station or sink your teeth into a hearty Angus prime rib, the Mother’s Day buffet at Brown Dog Café offers enough variety to please mom and the whole family. Vibe: Fun with the kids.

Coney Island’s annual all-you-can-eat Mother’s Day brunch buffet is the perfect way to celebrate mom while entertaining the kids. After eating brunch at either Moonlite Gardens or Moonlite Pavilion, check out the history, music, and culture at the Appalachian Festival along the Ohio River. Festival tickets are included in the buffet cost, as well as admission to a Coney Island ride. Tickets can be purchased here.

The brunch buffet in Moonlite Gardens ranges from $12.99 to $49.99 and begins at 11:30 a.m. Ticket includes brunch, free bar service, admission to the Appalachian Festival, admission to rides and attractions, and more.
