It’s summer. Day 17. You’ve been to the library, the art museums, the parks, the aquarium, and the zoo. And today you hear the words that you’ve been dreading: “There’s nothin’ to do!” (Insert silent scream here.)
Time to bring in reinforcements. Your local YMCA stands ready to lend a hand…or a pool…or a program. There are lots of different membership levels—take a look at the various packages and join online. Membership allows you to take advantage of everything the Y has to offer: swim, dance, and fitness classes; summer day camps; and sports—all at member prices. You can even pop in to any of the 14 Greater Cincinnati locations at no extra charge, which means you have waterparks, splash pads, and 35 indoor and outdoor pools at your beck and call. Plus, friends can tag along for free on summer Fridays.
The kids aren’t the only ones who’ll benefit. Classes such as Zumba, yoga, and barre will keep you feeling great, too. Free Child Watch care means that you can enjoy a worry-free workout while the kids play under the watchful eyes of trained YMCA staff.
And if the family heads out for a day trip around the tri-state, your Y membership allows you to visit any YMCA in Ohio and Kentucky.
How’s that for something to do?
