We’ve got the best life-hacking shortcuts to ensure your time and money are well-spent at this year’s Greater Cincinnati Holiday Market, running November 11–13 at the Duke Energy Convention Center. A few big changes are in the works, too. Here’s what’s what.
1. The Ultimate Power Shopper’s Dream
Friday’s VIP early admission is $20. This golden ticket gets you in the door at 8:30 a.m. to see hundreds of vendors at their sparkling finest.
2. Stroller-free Friday
No tire-tread marks on your back on opening day. No traffic pileups. Guests will be asked to park strollers in a designated area in the lobby.
3. Early Bird Admission Saturday
On Saturday, a $15 ticket gets you in one hour earlier than the rest of the harried masses.
4. There’s lots of food, people. Lots.
The 2016 Cincy Specialty Food & Treats Show is part of Holiday Market and offers everything from meats to sweets. Some folks offer samples, too. For extra points on the clever meter, bring a cooler for the ride home.
5. Get Your Game On
Pick up the November issue of Cincinnati Magazine where you’ll find Holiday Market’s official show program. For those efficiency freaks near and dear to our hearts: Highlight your must-see vendors and map your route on the floor plan.
6. Free, Cool Stuff
Want to win a dozen holiday cake pops from 3 Sweet Girls Cakery or other great stuff? Yes, please! Check out Holiday Market’s Facebook page where you can sign up for lots of preshow giveaways.
