Now that we’re all quarantined and working from home, you’re probably noticing a few home improvement projects you want to tackle: outdated furniture you’ve been meaning to replace, painted walls that need a touch-up, old carpet that deserves an upgrade—the list goes on. What better time to start planning these projects with all this extra time on your hands? If flooring is on your to-do list, McSwain Carpets & Floors can help! Although their physical locations are closed until May 4, when retail showrooms reopen on an appointment-only basis (and fully reopen on May 12), the team at McSwain has developed innovative ways to help customers from the comfort of their homes. Here’s how McSwain is continuing to deliver unparalleled customer service.

McSwain Can Answer All Your Questions
Keeping up with their signature customer service, McSwain implemented a chat function on every page of their website. Ask for help on how to bring your Pinterest board to life. Like many other chat options, simply fill in your name, phone number, and question. The information is texted immediately to the sales team and routed to the appropriate person. Whether it’s a question about available carpet colors or suggestions on pet-friendly flooring, they will respond within 24 hours.
Decorate Your Home Virtually
Having trouble visualizing your space with dark versus light wood stains? Can’t imagine what white tile will look like? Try the FloorVana application featured on McSwain’s homepage. The online app allows you to upload a photo of a room in your home and virtually swap out the carpet, vinyl, and wood options. Once you’ve selected your favorites, email McSwain the style and they’ll ship samples right to your door.
Order Samples and Try Out Your Selections
Whether you use FloorVana or had already selected a style before quaratine, McSwain can ship samples to you so you can see your selections in person. Just shoot them an email at FlooringQuestions@McSwainCarpets.com.

Start Planning Ahead
Usually the experts at McSwain are available to install your flooring, conduct measurements, and offer miscellaneous on-site assistance. Due to social distancing, on-site services are temporarily suspended; however, you still have options. Plan your orders now so that you’re prepared to make a decision when McSwain’s retail showrooms reopen.
Utilize the Contactless Pickup Option
If you’re anxious to get the ball rolling, order your flooring so it’s ready to install when scheduling resumes. You’ll just need to unload the materials yourself. Another option is doing it yourself. McSwain always recommends leaving the work to the experts, including the full-service installation process, but if you’re ready to do it yourself, you can pick up your flooring using their contactless pickup service.
