It’s that time of year again. The pools are open, the AC is cranked up, and the Public Library of Cincinnati & Hamilton County invites readers of all ages to stick their sweaty noses into a book for a chance to win some fab prizes. Kids of all ages—and parents, too!—win a book at the first prize level, and the grand prize for preschoolers, children, and teens (one at each level) is a tablet. Which they’ll all naturally use to read eBooks, right?

The library also invites you to “feed your stomach and your brain” with a summer lunch program offered at no cost to all children at select library locations every weekday beginning June 8 through August 7, and they’re bringing back the successful Summer Camp Reading (SCR) for third-graders who need a little boost for the upcoming school year.

Ready to read? Attend a kickoff event at your local library on June 1 and start logging.

June 1 – July 31, Public Library of Cincinnati & Hamilton County, cincinnatilibrary.org/summerlearn
