Santa Claus Is Coming to the Library

185

Mall Santa has got nothing on Library Santa. Not only is his naughty-and-nice list likely to be grammatically sound, but he also arrives in a trolley.

SORTA/Metro is collaborating with the Public Library of Cincinnati and Hamilton County to bring Santa Claus to several branches for photographs, gifts, and most importantly, a chance to explore his sweet ride: the Santa Trolley. The Santa Trolley will be at the College Hill branch on December 4, in Price Hill on December 17, and Avondale on the 18th.

And if that’s not enough excitement for the locomoting littles in your life, the main library downtown will have a holiday model train on display in the atrium on Friday, December 5 through Sunday, December 7. Library patrons are invited to operate the train. Though in the spirit of the season, I expect tying action figures to the tracks will be discouraged.
