Photographer Ken Heyman shot these and many other photos of mothers and their children nearly 60 years ago for his Pulitzer-nominated book Family, which he co-authored with Margaret Mead. They’re lovely, funny, and exquisitely sweet. But they ended up on the cutting room floor and eventually stashed in a storage facility. Thanks to his former agent, they’ve been ressurected.
Err…it’s getting really dusty in here. There must be something in my eye.
