This year, thanks to some pretty generous donations, the Cincinnati Recreation Commission is offering free swim lessons to children of all ages. Through their “I CAN SWIM!” Project, families are given the experiences they need not only to build on their children’s swimming skills, but also to be safe both in and around the water. The “I CAN SWIM!” Project is dedicated to the memory of brothers Cameron and Bryce, who tragically drowned in 2011, and whose parents hope to prevent the deaths of other children by promoting water safety and swimming instruction.

A $20 donation is asked of those families who can pay it forward, and you can visit your local CRC pool to register.

For more information, visit the Cincinnati Recreation Commission’s website.
