We talk about views a lot in this blog, usually of the river variety. But this area has some great cityscape views, too, especially from the Kentucky side of the river looking north, and especially at night. Case in point: this custom 6,600-square-foot home, built by Jim Cutter and originally owned by Reds pitcher Francisco Cordero.
In fact, the best way to enjoy the view would be from the home’s rooftop deck, complete with covered seating area, outdoor fireplace, hot tub and dedicated fireworks viewing terrace for the city’s annual Labor Day show on the Ohio River.
Then again, the inside of this house is almost as cool as that view (which, by the way, you can also see from multiple interior rooms). The main staircase is stunning, as is the uber-sleek kitchen. And what about that movie theater with a silver-leaf ceiling downstairs? Our vote for #1 fun space, though, goes to the third floor rec room, complete with glass-topped bar and walkout to that rooftop deck—a great place for a party, if you ask us.
