Orchard Lane is one of Pleasant Ridge’s most coveted streets. Looking at this tudor, it’s easy to understand why. For starters, it has a cool stained glass window in the front door, complete with a stained glass spider web.

The house is sale pending and also currently empty, but photographer Brigid Niesel took some lovely architectural photos, which include images of the wrought iron banister, third floor family room (with window seat, beamed ceiling, and stone fireplace), the original exterior copper light fixture out front, and a lovely side porch. If you spend any time in the area, you’ll also know that, aesthetic appeal aside, Orchard Lane is really popular for its proximity to downtown Pleasant Ridge, too.
As we see it, this home is the ideal way to have your cake and eat it too; there’s plenty of space for a family to stretch out but within easy walking distance of shopping, dining, churches, dry cleaners, multiple hair salons, the legendary Tacos Locos truck in the BP parking lot, and, coming soon, the new Coffee Exchange, just two blocks from its original location.
