Love of the Game: Matt had played and coached football at the University of Kentucky, and Taylor urged him to go to the open tryouts for the Cincinnati Reds. He hadn’t played baseball since his junior year of high school, but Matt impressed the Reds coaches and was offered a position on the team last July. During their reception, Matt’s family broke out into a baseball-themed flash mob, during which they wore Reds caps and danced to Take Me Out to the Ballgame. All in the Family: In their 20-person wedding party, Taylor’s two sisters served as her maids of honor and Matt’s four brothers were among his 10 groomsmen. Each of Taylor’s aunts made a cake for the reception, creating a lovely array of nine unique cakes to serve their guests.
