Leisa and Christian met while both were attending the fine arts program at the University of Cincinnati. They lost touch after graduation but in 2007, Leisa found Christian online and the two reconnected. They married on October 31, 2009, at the Krippendorf Lodge at the Cincinnati Nature Center. Leisa and Christian incorporated the Halloween holiday into the event with a trick-or-treating candy buffet for the children, a kids-only costume parade and even a psychic consultant who gave tarot card readings.
