Lauren and Erik’s relationship began while the two were students at the University of Kentucky in Lexington. The couple married in September 2010 at downtown Cincinnati’s stunning St. Xavier Church. As a surprise to their guests, the pair brought in local singer Peter Dressman, who gave an acoustic performance of Jeff Buckley’s Hallelujah from a rear balcony of the church. The reception at The Cincinnati Club had the feel of an upscale nightclub, with colorful lights projecting decorative images of peacock feathers on the ceilings and cozy white lounge furniture placed on the outskirts of the dance floor.
