When it was time for the groom to kiss his bride, everyone in the chapel was laughing. Why? The pastor who officiated Alicia and Chris’s wedding on July 16, 2011, thought it appropriate to use language from the couple’s professions—from anatomically correct terms to those of legally binding agreements. They made it official when the pastor said: “Doctor, you may kiss the lawyer; Chris, you may kiss your bride!”

Making New Memories: Alicia attended the Summit Country Day School from first through twelfth grade, so including the school’s chapel and some of her classmates in her wedding ceremony was especially significant to her.
