Blue Oven Bakery
By now you might have heard about Blue Oven’s otherworldly English muffins, but if you haven’t, hurry out right now and snag a bag at their Findlay Market stall—they’re worth the hype. Or do like so many restaurants around town and scoop up one of their handcrafted loaves for your next batch of sandwiches. (The multi-seed–crusted “Bad Boy” sourdough is our fave.)
Em’s Sourdough Bread
Loaves of bread, buns, rolls, and baguettes fill baskets and shelves at the Em’s counter in Findlay Market, all baked daily on site. But go a step further and treat yourself to a hearty breakfast or lunch sandwich on those breads and rolls, like the Sheila Gray (corned beef, brat, beer cheese, Swiss cheese, sauerkraut, mustard, and Thousand Island dressing).
