Some of the best views of downtown Cincinnati are found across the water in Covington’s Devou Park. Now, many are finding out about another Devou treasure: its growing mountain bike trail system. There were already three great miles of paths in place when, last summer, a coalition of Ohio and Kentucky riders cut the ribbon on another four-plus miles of natural surface single-track. The fun starts by the old incinerator, and the first mile-plus is a serious uphill climb. But then comes glory, a trail called “The Full Monty.” The view’s superb, but you do risk a skinned knee if you get distracted by the scenery. devouparktrails.com
