Cincinnati Symphony Orchestra’s Community Concerts

Generations of local families have been introduced to live classical music through the Cincinnati Symphony Orchestra’s Community Concerts. This summer, you can see the CSO and Pops Orchestra in parks and other public venues all around town (check their website for details). The community concert series brings the music to you in laid-back, fresh air (and often free!) settings, with crowd-pleasing programs. “These are always a good mix of light classical popular favorites, as well as Broadway and movie music,” says Meghan Berneking, CSO communications manager. “It’s really a family event, and people like to bring blankets, lawn chairs, and picnic baskets.” (513) 621-1919, cincinnatisymphony.org
